Edge tapes come in various types and sizes. They are usually printed with advertising. With us it's different, because you can have your own slogan, the name of your club or any other text on the edge tape. Your own images and your own icons too, of course.

A table tennis blade is on average about 0.5 cm thick. Together with the thickness of your rubbers, this determines which edge tape best fits your racket. In our shop you get tapes from 6 to 30 mm – so you really cover every racket and rubber combination, from bare pimpled wood to the thickest rubber.
If you play pimples without sponge, the narrowest tape at just 6 mm is the right choice. Most players, however, use inverted (pimples-in) rubbers on both sides, and the following rules of thumb apply for that.
The 6 mm tape fits OX pimples. A 9 mm tape is suitable for thin rubbers between 1.5 and 1.8 mm, while 10 mm covers the range from 1.6 to 1.9 mm. The 11 mm tape sits right in between for intermediate sizes. From a rubber thickness of 2.0 mm you reach for the 12 mm tape, and from 2.2 mm the 15 mm tape is the right size. For especially thick rubbers or special blades, the wider tapes up to 30 mm still give you room.
If, like many others, you play 2.0 mm on the forehand and 1.8 mm on the backhand, the 12 mm edge tape fits almost perfectly. With most other combinations you have to expect small deviations in the millimeter range – but that is completely normal and no cause for concern.

Depending on the blade and surface, minimal adhesive residue may remain, but it can usually be removed easily.
